1. About Traits by Itrat

Traits by Itrat is a UK-based modest fashion brand offering hijabs and hijab accessories, including casual and formal hijabs, hijab caps, pins and other accessories.

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions and images. Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device.

2. Orders

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please check your order details carefully and contact us as soon as possible if you believe there is an error.

We reserve the right to cancel an order where necessary, including in circumstances such as an obvious pricing or listing error or stock availability issue. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund for any payment already made.

3. Returns & Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind about an item purchased online, you may normally cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

Returned items must be:

• In their original, unused and resalable condition.
• Free from makeup, perfume, stains, marks, damage or any other signs of use.
• Returned with all original tags and labels still attached.
• Returned in their original packaging where reasonably possible.

Items that have been worn, used, washed, damaged or otherwise handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the item may not be eligible for a full refund, subject to your statutory rights.

For hygiene reasons, certain sealed products may not be eligible for return once the seal has been broken or the product has been unsealed, where applicable under UK law.

How to request a return

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return. Once your return request has been accepted, the item should be sent back within the applicable return period.

Customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning an item when they change their mind, unless the item is faulty, incorrect, or we have agreed otherwise.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process any refund due in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

4. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with your order details and photographs where appropriate.

5. Exchanges

We currently do not guarantee exchanges for a different colour or style. If you would like a different item, you may need to return the original item and place a new order, subject to availability and your statutory rights.

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website. Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery service selected and circumstances outside our control.

Any estimated delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.

7. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you and arrange an appropriate refund where necessary.

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£), unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to correct pricing or product information errors. Any correction will not affect an order where the price has already been correctly confirmed, subject to applicable law.
